I’d love to visit the Piedmont region of Italy. My mother’s family is from there (her last name is Cuneo). However, they may have simply been from the city of Cuneo and took that name when they came to America. Also, my grandmother (her last name was Ferrari) used rice in cooking rather than pasta, and she made the best risotto!
